This is not a traditional SEO role. We're seeking someone who operates at the intersection of search, AI answer engines, entity authority, and trust systems—an expert who understands how brands are selected by Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other emerging generative discovery layers. This strategist owns the entire process of making a brand visible, cited, and trusted by machines before humans ever see it. With an emphasis on entity-based SEO, schema, and knowledge graph alignment, the role prioritizes optimization for AI answer engines, close integration with PR and off-page authority signals, and high-level strategic work—not task execution or blog calendars.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of entity-based SEO/knowledge graph strategies for emerging and traditional search platforms
- Architect and implement structured data, schema design, and AI Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) for machine-driven brand visibility
- Monitor, analyze, and improve brand selection and trust signals across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and similar generative search systems
- Work cross-functionally with PR, brand, and technical teams to build off-page authority and measurable reputation signals
- Advise on technical and architectural SEO to maximize eligibility for AI-driven citations and references
- Report on entity/authority metrics, visibility gaps, and actionable growth opportunities at the executive level
Desirable Previous Experience:
7+ years in SEO, AEO, and organic growth leadership roles,Proven experience implementing entity-based SEO and knowledge graph strategies,Direct optimization work for AI/LLM or emerging generative search systems,Collaboration with cross-functional PR, brand, and data/engineering teams,Hands-on technical SEO and structured data leadership for major brands or agencies
