They are a cross-border tech M&A and business development advisory firm made up of 100+ professionals across our global hubs in Miami, San Francisco, Vienna, Berlin and Madrid. We offer our clients advisory services related to corporate finance, M&A/corporate development, and business development. Through our affiliated companies, we are also registered Broker-Dealers with FINRA and SEC.
The Job:
The M&A and Corporate Development Team is directly involved in the design, origination, structuring and execution of business development and corporate development/M&A transactions for technology companies. You are expected to understand the technology industry, identify key market and product trends, and drive inputs on pitch and deal material to effectively support transactions on behalf of our clients. You will be assigned to a variety of projects and are given a broad range of supervisory and execution responsibilities. We offer an unparalleled opportunity to work as part of small deal teams on strategic assignments, providing meaningful exposure to senior bankers and executives at technology companies. We have a significant presence across all major technology verticals. Your day-to-day activities include supervising and managing teams that prepare transaction material, run outreach campaigns, own your deal pipeline and supervise the team performing financial analysis and modeling, preparing client presentations, interacting with clients and buyers, conducting market research, and providing guidance to Associates and Analysts, among other activities.
Your Responsibilities:
Directly working with the project manager on corporate development and M&A projects
Drive the analysis and evaluation of specific technologies, business models, and industry verticals
Coordinating extensive quantitative economic, industry and company research
Independently work on project streams such as preparation of transaction documents, financial models and company presentations
Review and train juniors on financials modeling, valuations, comparable & relative value analyses
Lead preparation of due diligence (DD) documentation and running DD processes end-to end
Your Hard Skills:
5+ years of experience in M&A, PE/VC, or management consulting in the technology industry
Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel capabilities
Demonstrated interest in startup / tech community / entrepreneurship / venture capital
Strong quantitative background and analytical skills
Previous M&A experience required
Excellent written and spoken English
CFA or Series 7 a plus but not required

A quick learner with the ability to grasp business models/financial concepts
Strong oral and written communication skills along with good listening skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Maturity and good judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information; • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative ideas and/or product solutions
