We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Product Development & Operations Coordinator to support our Senior Product Development Manager in managing the end-to-end product development and operational process. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating across multiple teams and factories, and can effectively manage timelines, data, and project follow-up.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring products move efficiently from development through production and shipment while maintaining accurate systems, documentation, and retailer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development Support
· Maintain and update product development trackers and calendars.
· Conduct weekly project reviews with the Senior Product Development Manager and follow up on outstanding action items.
· Track development milestones and proactively communicate risks or delays.
· Coordinate factory communication regarding development status, approvals, and timelines.
· Assist with product setup and item creation processes.
· Coordinate product testing and inspections, ensuring all requirements are scheduled on time.
· Manage UPC assignments and labeling requirements with factory partners.
· Coordinate retailer compliance requirements and documentation.
Operations & Supply Chain Coordination
· Create, update, and maintain purchase orders (POs) within internal systems.
· Review and coordinate carton marking approvals with factories and follow up to ensure compliance.
· Manage booking requests and shipment scheduling with factories and logistics partners.
· Coordinate shipping documentation, including packing lists, invoices, and compliance paperwork.
· Support factory communication regarding labeling, packaging, and shipping requirements.
Retailer & Customer Compliance
· Enter and maintain product information within retailer portals.
· Upload product attributes, specifications, images, and supporting documentation as required by customers.
· Prepare and submit retailer-specific compliance documents, including duty forms and customs-related paperwork.
· Ensure all retailer requirements and deadlines are met accurately and on time.
Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
· Strong organizational and project management skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
· 1–3 years of experience in product development, sourcing, supply chain, operations, merchandising, or a related field.
· Experience working with overseas factories and suppliers.
· Experience with retailer portals and item setup processes.
· Knowledge of product testing, inspections, compliance, labeling, and shipping documentation.
· Familiarity with ERP, PLM, or retailer portal systems.
· Experience in home textiles, home décor, rugs, or consumer products.
