About the Role
As an AI Software Engineer at NewtonX, you'll be instrumental in shaping our AI-powered
research platform, keeping us at the forefront of what's possible with LLMs and machine
learning. You'll own product features across the stack, from design to launch, in order to deliver
cutting-edge experiences powering some of the biggest decisions made around the globe.
You'll have close feedback loops with users and our Content and Sales team, building AI
thought partners that make researchers smarter and more creative. This is an opportunity to

Hub and Prime
We’re a small, agile team with huge opportunities for growth focused on building two
complementary products: Hub and Prime.
We’re building Hub as the central cockpit for B2B research: turning today’s services into a
productized, AI-powered pipeline. You’ll ship self-serve features that allow clients to move from
question → answer → follow-up in days, not weeks. The mandate: a world-class quant
experience that lets customers configure new work without sales intensive processes, explore
results instantly, and surface smart upsells that compound into bigger engagements. Ultimately
we want to be the data hub for clients that allows rapid access to insights, not just the data.
In Prime, you’ll scale syndicated B2B data into a modern subscription product: standing up
longitudinal trackers, recurring insight streams, and frequently refreshed dashboards/data feeds
for underserved markets. The technical edge comes from fusing Prime’s repeatable,
decision-grade datasets with each client’s own data in Hub, creating a compounding data moat
and rapid insight loops that make NewtonX indispensable. You’ll build automated research
products that allow us to always have fresh quantitative insights on opinions across a range of
industries, powering the definitive approach to understanding the landscape of business.

What You'll Do
● Ship AI-powered features end-to-end: Design, develop, and deploy full-stack features
that leverage LLMs and machine learning models to transform how B2B research is
conducted
● Build scalable AI systems: Architect and implement robust backend services that
handle complex AI workloads, from data processing pipelines to model serving
infrastructure
● Create exceptional user experiences: Develop intuitive, responsive frontends that
make sophisticated AI capabilities accessible to non-technical users
● Integrate cutting-edge AI: Work with state-of-the-art language models, embedding
systems, and RAG architectures to build intelligent research automation tools
● Ensure reliability at scale: Write clean, secure, and performant code that serves
enterprise clients with mission-critical requirements
● Drive technical innovation: Research and prototype new AI capabilities, staying
current with the latest developments in LLMs and machine learning

What We're Looking For
Required
● You write exceptional code, fast. 3-4 years of experience shipping production code in
a fast-paced environment
● Full-stack expertise: Moderate proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend
frameworks. Backend experience with Python, Node.js, or similar
● AI/ML implementation experience: Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, building
with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, or implementing ML models in production. We care more
about a demonstrated eagerness to learn and an understanding of complex systems
than specific years.
● Cloud and infrastructure: Experience with AWS, Docker, and modern deployment
practices
● Quality mindset: Experience with testing, code reviews, and maintaining high code
quality standards
● Customer focus: Ability to translate user needs into technical solutions while
maintaining engineering best practices
● Multilingual: Experience working in TypeScript and Python in a workplace setting
Nice to Have
● Knowledge of RAG systems, embeddings, and semantic search
● Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
● Experience with real-time data processing and streaming architectures
● Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects
● Background in statistics and data science
