We are looking for one of our clients: a Legal Analyst. Our client is US based, SEC registered Family Office serving global families, managing +1B USD in assets. Client families are from the US, Europe & LATAM. The company has contractors who provide services internationally.

The ideal candidate: a junior professional with proven track record of client facing skills, to cover a broad array of legal matters and with strong project management. Its main focus will be to work with families on their wealth/succession planning and reviewing/improving investment documents.
• 2-3 years of experienced Law professional and graduate, with excellent English and general communication skills.
• A plus: capable of a global legal approach and interested in the legal aspect of investments, wealth structuring and regulatory compliance.
• Background in law firms and/or legal departments, including areas such as business/investment law, Venture Capital, M&A, Wealth/Tax/Succession Planning, Trusts & Estates.

Some of the Responsibilities
1. Reviewing, negotiating, and improving investment documents received from entrepreneurs, funds or managers.
2. Coordinate with the Investments team, to prepare a sound Investment Policy Statement for the families, starting from the examples already available.
3. Responsible for the legal documents archive and follow-up process for investments conversions and evolutions.
4. Legal Structures: maintain, improve, and analyze existing legal structures held by families, by coordinating with external counsel and developing a sense of the best practices available.
5. Learn and stay updated regarding tax & estate efficient strategies across different countries and advise families on what is best for them. Collaborate with external counsel to provide the families with a clear plan of action and lead the execution until its completion and implementation.
