We are seeking a talented Data Scientist with a passion for data-driven decision-making and experience in modeling, particularly discrete choice models. In this role, you will be part of a small, agile team that develops and implements scalable models to solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in economics and statistics, with experience developing and implementing demand estimation algorithms and other advanced analytical techniques using Python. They should be eager to learn, excel at solving complex problems, and thrive in collaborative environments.

Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain scalable analytical models to solve business problems.
* Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing.
* Work collaboratively with a globally distributed team to gather data, define requirements, and implement solutions.
* Communicate complex analytical concepts and results to business stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
* Define and document workflows and operating procedures for complex systems.

Skills and Helpful Certifications
* Strong foundation in economics and statistics.
* Proficiency in Python and commonly used data science libraries.
* Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
* Experience in developing and implementing discrete choice models and other advanced analytical techniques is a big plus.
* Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Economics, Statistics, or a related field (preferred).
* Experience in the retail or consumer goods industry (a plus).
