Legal Analyst for US Based Real Estate Company Postular

We are looking for one of our clients, a Legal Analyst. Our client offers real estate investment services to high and ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices and institutional investors. They invest in select income-producing properties in the United States and United Kingdom.
Their main goal is to provide investors with solutions for capitalizing on the opportunity to acquire and realize profits within certain developed real estate markets by offering an all-encompassing property investment portfolio of services. Their investment process is focused on selecting and executing good investments through rigorous and thorough fundamental analysis and due diligence, efficient structuring and financing, methodical monitoring, and hands-on servicing.
The candidate needs to be well organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement, multitasking ability, due date compliance, teamwork effort and strong commitment.
Some of the responsibilities
• Assist in all day-to-day legal aspects affecting our client’s portfolio properties.
• Assist in the drafting and negotiation of purchase and sale contracts. Work on due diligence
requirements in preparing for closings.
• Assist in the drafting and negotiation of financing agreements.
• Assist in monitoring and managing the portfolio, oversee all legal aspects of company’s formation and
good standing.
• Assist in the drafting and negotiation of partnership and subscription agreements.
• Assist in the supervision and development of the landlord-tenant relationship.
• Communicate with leasing agents regarding lease documents and deals made with tenants or
proposed tenants.
• Assist leasing agents with prospective tenant proposals, review lease terms and status.
• Negotiate leases, lease amendments, waivers, subordination agreements, estoppels and termination
agreements with tenants, attorneys and brokers. Draft and revise leases and lease amendments for new and existing tenants.
The ideal candidate
• Bachelor’s degree in law.
• 3-6 years of work experience at a law firm or as in-house counsel at a company.
• Nice to have, not excluding: Experience handling all phases of real estate transactions including
leasing, as well as acquisition and disposition. Experience drafting and negotiating asset purchase and sale agreements.
Experience drafting and negotiating leases and related leasing documents. Experience in title and survey examination.
• Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills and adherence to strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Superior analytical and legal research skills.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
