Job Overview
We are seeking full-time Research Analysts to join our International Arbitration practice in Buenos Aires.
Our International Arbitration team works closely with international corporations, sovereign states and law firms to provide expert economic analysis in high profile, high stakes disputes before major international arbitration tribunals worldwide.
As a Research Analyst, you will contribute directly to expert reports submitted to tribunals such as The World Bank’s ICSID, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA). You will collaborate closely with economists, financial experts, and senior consultants, gaining hands on experience in economic and financial analysis, damages assessment, and valuation in real world disputes.
Research Analysts support the gathering, processing, and analysis of data; conduct qualitative research; and contribute to client-deliverables. This includes assisting in the development of complex and customized valuation models, drafting expert reports, preparing supporting materials, and creating presentations. They are actively involved throughout the lifecycle of a case and are expected to develop a strong understanding of the underlying dispute and the economic, financial, and factual issues relevant to each engagement.
Econic Partners offers a long term career growth path for Research Analysts. Over time, successful candidates are expected to take on increasing responsibility, deepen their technical and analytical expertise, and make progressively more substantial contributions to client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
• Contributing to the analysis of complex economic and financial data.
• Producing tables, graphs, and other visual materials of analytical results.
• Conducting qualitative research assignments related to economic, financial, and industry-specific issues relevant to ongoing engagements.
• Reviewing case documents and other materials to identify and extract relevant information.
• Assisting with the preparation of expert reports and other client deliverables.
• Completing audits and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of analyses and work product.
• Participating in internal and external meetings, as appropriate.
• Contributing to a collaborative, professional and intellectually rigorous work environment.
Qualifications / Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics; a Master’s degree in Economics and/or Finance is a plus.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret economic and financial data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to conduct structured qualitative and industry research.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines.
