Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated financial analyst/associate to join our investment team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across private credit strategies: capital solutions, corporate loans, asset based finance focusing on the USA middle market sector targeting financings in the USD 25M to USD 200M range. Analysts/associates gain broad exposure to deal sourcing, financial modeling, due diligence, portfolio monitoring and communication of ideas. You will work directly with senior investment professionals on live transactions and will have a front row seat into our investment decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities
Deal Execution & Analysis
- Build comprehensive financial models (3-statement LBOs, cash flow, credit) to evaluate investment and lending opportunities across the capital structure, asset classes, sectors, and geographies.
- Conduct in-depth industry research, competitive landscape analysis, and market sizing exercises.
- Perform detailed due diligence including management assessment, customer/vendor calls, and financial statement analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of screening and investment memos, transaction summaries, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate with external advisors including legal counsel, accounting firms, and consultants.

Portfolio Management
- Monitor borrower’s performance through financials, KPI tracking, and management communications.
- Assist in developing value creation initiatives and strategic planning for portfolio investments.
- Prepare quarterly performance reports and portfolio updates for internal stakeholders and LPs.
- Participate in board meetings and maintain board materials.

Market Intelligence
- Evaluate new investment opportunities through outreach, relationships, and proprietary channels.
- Maintain deal pipeline tracking and CRM systems.
- Stay current on market trends, industry developments, and competitive dynamics in target sectors.

Investor Relations Support
- Assist in preparing materials for investor meetings, quarterly updates, and annual meetings.
- Support fundraising efforts including data room management and LP due diligence requests.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in either Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering or related field with strong quantitative and academic record.
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit or other relevant financial institutions.
- Advanced corporate financial modeling in Excel.
- Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to communicate investment ideas clearly.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and corporate finance concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and synthesize complex information.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to assist in the preparation of investment memos.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic.

Preferred:
- Experience with leveraged buyout modeling and/or credit underwriting.
- Familiarity with middle-market companies and private capital markets.
- Ability to code in Python/VBA is a plus.
- Familiarity with derivatives (e.g. interest rate hedges) is a plus.
- Familiarity with asset based finance/ABS/structured products is a plus.

Location
The position is based in Buenos Aires and will work remotely with the New York investment team.
