Summary
We seek a Product Owner to lead the roadmap for an AI-powered collections agent. You will be the sole product owner, accountable for what to build, in what order, and why—ensuring every release solves real customer problems and moves core metrics.
Responsibilities
Own the product vision & roadmap: Define outcomes, prioritize initiatives, and maintain a clear, sequenced backlog aligned to business goals.
Customer discovery: Run ongoing interviews, shadow sessions, and data reviews to validate pains (contactability, right-party reach, promise-to-pay, dispute handling, compliance workflows).
Requirements & specs: Translate problems into crisp PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for AI voice/chat flows, agent tooling, and back-office ops.
Delivery leadership: Drive sprint planning, execution, and release management; ensure quality via test plans, evals, and post-release monitoring.
AI product rigor: Partner with engineering/ML to design guardrails, evaluation frameworks, prompts/policies, and human-in-the-loop escalation paths.
Compliance-by-design: Collaborate with legal/compliance to embed requirements (consents, disclosures, call-time rules, audit trails) into product flows.
Metrics & reporting: Define and track KPIs—right-party contact rate, promises kept, recovery rate, cost per resolution, handle time, CSAT, and defect rates.
Cross-functional alignment: Coordinate with Sales, Ops, and Customer Success on pilots, enablement, and feedback loops; maintain clear stakeholder comms.
Requirements
4–7+ years in Product Management/Ownership for AI, fintech, CX automation, or workflow products.
Demonstrated ability to own outcomes end-to-end as the single threaded leader (vision → roadmap → delivery → iteration).
Strong product discovery skills and comfort with both qualitative research and quantitative analysis.
Experience working closely with engineering/ML on conversational AI, decisioning, or automation features (LLM/ASR/TTS a plus).
Exceptional communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management.
Nice to Have
Domain exposure to collections/receivables, contact center ops, payments, or dispute management.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., FDCPA, Reg F, consent & disclosure practices) and audit requirements.
Background in experimentation frameworks, product analytics, and LLM evaluation/guardrails.
Hands-on familiarity with tools like Jira/Linear, Productboard, Looker/GA4, Amplitude/Mixpanel, and prompt/version control.
Working Model
Employment: Full-time.
Location: Remote with meaningful overlap to collaborate with engineering and customer teams.
Reporting: Directly to Founder/Head of Product.
