Who we are
Pikl is using AI to automate the entire hourly hiring process. Pikl is starting by automating the $43B spent in manual labor in the temp stang industry, allowing any temp stang agency to seamlessly launch their own fully embedded stang platform. Pikl gives temp stang agencies an end to end experience for their workers, end customers, and internal teams - replacing their internal labor spend with the Pikl product. By leveraging AI for worker order in-take, interviews, matching, scheduling, time-tracking, and candidate management, pikl can replace billions of dollars spent in manual labor, with their seamless end to end solution.
What you'll do
As one of our first engineering hires, you'll work across the entire stack and product lifecycle. This includes building new features from scratch, improving app performance and security, squashing bugs, and shaping the user experience alongside the rest of the team. You’ll push code to production, talk directly to customers, and contribute to a culture of shipping fast, learning quickly, and doing things right.
You might be a good fit if you:
● Have 7+ years of experience as a full stack or backend/frontend engineer
● Have been a founder or early team member at a startup — and love wearing multiple hats ● Are excited by AI and use modern tools to move faster, but never at the expense of understanding how things work under the hood
● Keep up with the latest in software engineering, product thinking, and developer productivity ● Are proactive, thoughtful, and comfortable working with little direction
● Enjoy being part of a small, collaborative team and bringing new ideas to the table ● Are based in the NYC area (hybrid office work) or Buenos Aires (remote)

How we work
We write unit tests, do code reviews, and deploy multiple times a week. Everyone is responsible for making sure things work in production — and for jumping on calls with users when needed. We care about building well-crafted software, and we don’t believe in silos.
